About Us

Alpha Delta Pi is proud to be the first secret society exclusively for women. Founded on May 15, 1851, at Wesleyan Female College in Macon, Georgia, our sorority is rich with tradition and sisterhood. Alpha Delta Pi sisters strive for excellence in philanthropy, academic performance, and campus leadership. In keeping with our motto, We Live for Each Other, our members have found a place for support, shared values, and personal development. Opportunities abound for the sisters of Alpha Delta Pi, and we look forward to sharing them with you.

Founded on February 28, 1970, the Zeta Alpha Chapter at CSUF is steadfast in its commitment to embodying the timeless values of Alpha Delta Pi. As sisters, we wholeheartedly embrace our international open motto, “We Live For Each Other,” fostering a sense of unity and support within our close-knit community.

Throughout our journey on campus and within our chapter, our dedication extends beyond our sisterhood to impactful philanthropic endeavors. Not only do we passionately raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House Charities, but we also actively contribute to various CSUF philanthropic organizations. Among them are Camp Titan, which provides transformative experiences for local youth, Tuffy’s Basic Needs, addressing essential student needs, the ASI Food Pantry, supporting food security on campus, and the CSUF Children’s Center, enriching the lives of young learners.

Our commitment to philanthropy extends beyond monetary contributions. Through volunteering and community engagement, we aim to make a positive impact, embodying the spirit of altruism that defines our sisterhood. As we continue to live out our values, the Zeta Alpha Chapter remains a beacon of unity, compassion, and service on the CSUF campus and beyond.
